Xingling quickly left the conversation to check the message he just received on his phone. The person who had replied to his inquiry about where Han Yubai lived was actually Li Dong himself, not Han Tianlin. He happily left the company to go take care of the Second Young Master. If you are not reading on readerfeedertranslations.blogspot.com, you are supporting theft.

Of course, Han Tianlin did see the message Xingling sent him, but when he called Li Dong to check on him, Li Dong had already fallen asleep and so naturally couldn’t answer the call. Thus, Han Tianlin immediately called the maid at the family home and began to rush back.

Han Tianlin and Xi Xingling ended up meeting each other at the door.

“Oh, uh, eldest young master!” Xi Xingling turned around and was startled. He saw Han Tianlin’s tall figure gradually approaching him from behind, and immediately felt a bit weak in the knees. It was almost a conditioned reflex—he couldn’t push away the giddy feeling in his stomach even if he tried.

Han Tianlin, on the other hand, was confused. “Why are you here?” he asked, frowning. He was particularly disgusted seeing Xi Xingling popping up again and again. He had forgotten to block Xi Xingling’s number before, but when he had seen Xingling’s text this time, his immediate reaction was to blacklist him. However, he hesitated because of the contents of the message. He decided to wait until after he visited his brother and made sure he was okay.

“Second Young Master called me over!” Xingling declared. He quickly pulled out his phone and scrolled to the text message Yubai had replied to him with to back up his words. “He feels terrible currently, and so asked me to come take him to the hospital.”

Han Tianlin gave Xi XIngling a glare—he didn’t want to waste any more time questioning Xingling. He had to go check on his younger brother.

Xi Xingling made sure to keep some space between him and Eldest Young Master, not daring to get too close. He could feel the pressure and temperature drop just from being nearby. Thus, he only dared to follow from afar, but he also didn’t want to leave because he really waS concerned about Yubai.

When they arrived in Yubai’s room, Tianlin saw two maids standing beside his brother’s bed, but they seemed confused and at a loss. They were completely useless. “Get out! Go call an ambulance,” he ordered impatiently.

“Second Young Master!” Xi Xingling wailed. He came in and immediately noticed how weak Li Dong was. Xingling reached out and felt his forehead, and then his cheek. It was boiling hot. Was an ambulance coming yet? They needed to hurry up and take Second Young Master to the hospital!

Han Tianlin was frowning as he watched all of this. But he heard Xingling exclaim at the heat radiating off of Li Dong’s forehead. Thus he walked forward and said, “Step back. I’ll carry him.”

“I’ll help you, be careful not to drop him…” Xingling was about to cry, his eyes were red and teary out of stress.

Han Tianlin was worried for his brother, but Xingling really was taking it a step too far. Yubai just has a fever and a cold, okay? He’s not dying of a terminal illness.

“Gosh, I feel so sad… he has to get better…” Xingling muttered as he rolled up his sleeves and went to gently push Li Dong onto Han Tianlin’s back.

“...” Li Dong gradually woke up as the two were struggling with him, jostling him all around. He gasped for air as his nose was congested, and he couldn’t breathe comfortably at all.

“Second Young Master?” Xingling exclaimed in surprise, and couldn’t help but grin as he saw Li Dong wake up. He hurriedly leaned forward and chastely kissed him. “I missed you so much…”

“...” Li Dong was left speechless.

After the two managed to get Li Dong into the back seats of the car, Xingling settled in next to him with Han Tianlin driving in front.

“Second Young Master, do you want some water?” Xi Xingling opened a bottle of mineral water, but Han Tianlin immediately scolded him.

“He has a cold, and you still want to give him cold water?”

“I didn’t mean to give it to him directly…” Xi Xingling pitifully explained, feeling aggrieved. He then took a mouthful of cold water and waited for a bit before feeding it to Li Dong through a kiss.

Han Tianlin: “...”

Even Li Dong wasn’t expecting this sort of performance, much less Han Tianlin. Both were dumbfounded, but Li Dong really was thirsty, and so he appreciated the water either way.

“Aren’t you scared I’ll give you my cold?” Li Dong asked harshly?

“Look at what you’re saying…” Xi Xingling said, pouting at Li Dong. “Don’t worry, don’t even mention having a cold. Even if you gave me AIDS, I would be willing-”

Li Dong choked suddenly, falling into a series of coughs.

“-It would be worth it.” Xingling declared.

Li Dong felt as if this was an awfully weird way to confess someone’s affection.

“If anyone would be infecting anyone else in this relation, it would be you giving something to my brother,” Han Tianlin said angrily. “You’re such a slut, but you’re still worrying about infection?” Tianlin really couldn’t understand what his brother saw in this- this thing.

“Huh? But I’ve only ever slept with Second Young Master before,” Xingling replied innocently, his eyes wide like a bunny rabbit’s.

Meanwhile, Li Dong finally managed to clear his throat. “Stop talking bullshit and feed me some more water.”

Xingling immediately reverted to an expression of distress, and he hurriedly repeated the act of holding some water in his own mouth to transfer over to Li Dong.

“Umph-!” After Li Dong managed to get a few gulps of water, he instead leaned over and pressed Xingling down to kiss him harder. Xingling protested by gently pounding against Li Dong’s chest. “No~ I don’t actually want to get a cold!”

Li Dong let up, but stayed leaning against Xingling. His nose was stuffy and he couldn’t smell anything, but he somehow had the illusion of smelling a sweet fragrance.

After an event ride, they finally arrived at the hospital.

Han Tianlin and Xi Xingling accompanied Li Dong to get an IV drip and take some prescription medications, and then followed him as he was taken in to stay overnight at the hospital.

“Yes, Yubai has a fever, dad,” Han Tianlin explained to their father, Han Zhen, over the phone. “I’ll accompany him in the hospital.

“How is he? Is it bad?” His dad was naturally very concerned about the situation of his youngest son.

“He has a high fever and needs to stay tonight for observation.”

“Does your mother know?”

“It’s better not to inform her,” Han TIanlin decided. “Do you want to come visit Yubai?”

“I’m afraid I won’t be able to make it in time. I have to go to the airport immediately.”

“Nevermind, then.”

It was always like this. The old man cared for his youngest son, but minimally and always treated him as an afterthought. Thus, Han Tianlin loved Han Yubai even more and always treated him well, almost raising him as his own son ever since he was young.

“Second Young Master, how do you feel now? Is the ice pack too cold?” Xingling sat obediently beside Li Dong, continuously asking if he was thirsty, or hungry, or cold, or too warm. “By the way, do you need to use the bathroom?”

“Yu Bai,” Tianlin interrupted, “would you prefer I stay here with you, or him?”  He didn’t care, if his little brother needed him, he would find the time to accompany him.

“I’m good with him here. You go do your work.” Li Dong replied hoarsely. He was currently bedridden with an IV in his arm.

“Well, if you need anything, make him call me.” Han Tianlin finished speaking and turned to glare fiercely at Xingling. “You, take good care of my brother.”

“Of course, I understand,” Xingling replied seriously. He shrank away from Han Tianlin’s gaze, not daring to look up at him directly.

When Tianlin was a bit farther away, he popped right back up and complained unhappily. “Hmph. I’m no coward, but I can only be coquettish to Second Young Master alone!”

Li Dong almost choked again as he laughed in surprise. Damn, this little guy is too funny.
