“What is going on?” A voice suddenly came from the door to the private room. A waiter was holding the door open for Li Dong, who swaggered in and waved a hand at the men surrounding Xingling. “Move away. Anyone who continues will have his hands chopped off.”

Several of the escorts knew of Han Yubai, so when they heard his speech, they immediately stopped their actions, but didn’t let Xu Xingling go. Instead, they all glanced toward Tianlin.

“Let him go, then.” Tianlin acquested. Tianlin turned towards his brother and smiled. “You came just in time. Did this boy call you over?” Now that his brother was here, Tianlin knew that he could no longer see a good show.

But Tianlin wasn’t too disappointed. What his brother wished for mattered a whole lot more than just seeing a good show.

“I heard the news from downstairs,” Li Dong explained. He picked up Xu XIngling’s coat and clothes and used them to wrap the man up before picking him up. “Brother, I had already told you that I want this man. Why didn’t you keep your promise?”

Han Tianlin glanced at him lazily, “He said you had dumped him. That you wouldn’t let him appear in front of you, and that you didn’t want to do it with him anymore.” In addition to that, he had appeared in front of Tianlin twice in just a few days, which was very annoying.

However, since my brother seemed to want to seriously care for this man, Tianlin decided that he would have to care about Xingling a bit as well.

“Well, you’ve thoroughly punished him for annoying you this time. You both are even, no?” Li Dong brushed passed the topic quickly as he didn’t want to come across as publicly denouncing Han Tianlin. He just wanted to make clear to Tianlin his attitude towards Xingling at the moment. “Next time, if he bothers you, just call me and I’ll teach him a lesson for you.”

With a loud sound, Li Dong slapped Xu Xingling on the hip. “I hope elder brother can be more careful with the things I touch.”

Han Tianlin didn’t reply. He merely shrugged his shoulders and waved amiably to Li Dong. What had happened tonight was nothing significant in his eyes, it had happened is all.

However, Li Dong appeared just in time and took Xu Xingling away. This was what cued Tianlin in on the fact that Li Dong really did place a little importance on Xingling and was not just a casual fling.

Li Dong took Xingling out of box 311 and asked a waiter for another room in the club. Xu Xingling was still suffering under the drug and was now acting like a madman, arching and twisting around in his arms.

Li Dong smacked him lightly on the face to try and bring back a bit of Xingling’s consciousness. Xingling actually woke up a bit, but his eyes were only open a crack, barely able to see clearly. He tightly hung onto Li Dong.

“Second Young Master…”

Li Dong was relieved that Xingling could still recognize him through his haze.

They made it to the room, and Xu Xingling unhesitatingly clung to Li Dong enthusiastically for several rounds. But Xu Xingling, even weakened from the drugs, still had so much energy and enthusiasm after so many times. He had been tossed around relentlessly for a while now, but still pestered Li Dong for more: “Second Young Master…” He was almost like a hunger tiger.

With a sigh, Li Dong rolled back over top of Xingling. He hadn’t taken the medicine like Xingling did, so he had to try to empathize with the man beneath him a bit.

Another thirty minutes later, Li Dong lay on the sofa with dark circles and tired eyes. He didn’t dare lie in bed because Xu Xingling was still there, not yet satiated.

“I still want more…” Xu Xingling cried. He was fully conscious now and could remember everything, but the medicine still ran through his bloodstream and he could only helplessly call out to Li Dong. 

Xingling managed to find a way to support himself and stand up. Suddenly, he threw himself at Li Dong on the couch and rubbed himself against him. He moved to climb on top of him.

Li Dong really couldn’t take it anymore. “Stop this! Get out!”

“Wuwu…” Xingling started crying.

“If you don’t give me an explanation about what was going on tonight, I won’t be letting you off lightly.” Li Dong pushed Xingling aside. One really couldn’t blame Li Dong for his rudeness. He was clueless as to what had really happened, and had to derail his night to save Xingling from the mess he had foolishly gotten himself into.

Xingling refused to be sidetracked, however. It barely took him two minutes to recover and stick himself to Li Dong again. “I was just called over by Eldest Young Master, and he ordered me to drink a glass of wine… it’s just…” it’s just after drinking, he knew it was a drugged wine.

“Really? My older brother took the initiative to welcome you over?” Li Dong asked sharply. He didn’t believe that Han Tianlin would ever take the initiative to call Xu Xingling.

“...That…” The foolish man hesitated and lowered his head. Just from a single glance, he was obviously guilty.

Li Dong pinched Xingling’s chin and raised his head. He slapped him and said, “You just don’t know when to stop, do you? You really haven’t changed at all, still so cheap!” It really is so useless trying to teach him.

Li Dong can’t say that he was afraid for Xu Xingling, but he definitely felt uncomfortable with what had happened.

He had only refused to answer Xingling’s calls for a few days, and Xingling had already bothered Tianlin enough that Tianlin was about to ruin him in front of a crowd. Had Li Dong arrived any later tonight, the novel’s original ending would have come true.

This is why Li Dong feels so angry that he’s almost about to explode. He really doesn’t know if he even wants to take care of this thing that doesn’t even take himself seriously.
